Good Resurrection Sunday Morning!!
Our Lord has Risen!! He is Risen Indeed!!
Today is the day for all Christians to remember and to celebrate our Savior Jesus Christ as HE has shown us all that Resurrection is not only possible but that Jesus himself, God’s Son, our Savior, alone has been and currently is the only person ever to conquer death. Resurrection is the truth that death no longer wins. Death is the wage of sin … the outcome of sin … and resurrection conquers all of that fallenness.
An important reminder is that the HOPE of our resurrection someday is because of THE FINISHED AND COMPLETED RESURRECTION of our LORD Jesus Christ.
It is today, Resurrection Sunday, that we hold close together in one bond with Christ Jesus. The gospel truth rests in the Resurrection. What Christ alone can do, we cannot do, so we believe in this resurrection promise.
THE RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ is therefore the basis of the Christian faith. It is why we model believers’ baptism after the lowering into death and resurrection again to life after our LORD’s resurrection from death.
