Thomas Dvornik is a principal member of the technical staff here at Salesforce. He has always known that he wanted to work with computers in some way, but had a hard time choosing between computer graphics and computer science. Ultimately, he came to choose the math side of things, which brought him to Salesforce.

In the episode, Thomas and I talk about his long career working on developer tooling at Salesforce. He has seen the Developer Console morph into its current form and talks about how it and the Tooling API influenced each other.  We also talk about the role of the upcoming Code Builder and how the layering with the Salesforce CLI works.
