“We share our stories so we don’t feel alone.” In this deep chat, we dive right into how self-validation can manifest, why it’s difficult to access, and how it can change the way you show up in every area of your life. Masha Martinova specializes in helping people make tiny behavior shifts that equal big life leaps. An ex shrink by trade, today she is a direct, no bullshit, innovative thought partner who deeply listens, helping leaders cut through noise and define their own best selves.
How does she know this road so well? She’s lived it. Unbiased, unfazed, oftentimes funny, her own path to self love was not what she expected. Secret childhood trauma, years of graduate school, a surprise pregnancy and the wrong career all served to deliver a surprise message of self love that she hopes to share with you today.
In this episode we discussed:
Your traumas didn’t start with you
Why others can not validate you for you
What leads to self-invalidation
What does self-care actually mean
