May 21st is a primary election day in Oregon.

Locally, on the ballot is Jefferson County Commissioner, Position #3. The position has a 4-year term. This position can be elected at the Primary if a candidate receives 50%+1 votes. If no one gets that 50% of the vote plus one – then the top 2 vote getters will be on the November 5th ballot to be elected.
