Key Take Aways:
  • Teachers can make all the difference in a student's musical experience. Teachers look up to us, so we have to bring that spark to every single lesson
  • You have to stay mentally and physically healthy. It's easy to burnout if you let those things go
  • Word-of-mouth is your best friends as a musician who wants to have a steady flow of gigs. Make a good impression so that your good reputation will spread
  • It's very important for musicians to organize their practice, so that they see progress and are inspired to continue learning
  • Practice should to be fun!
  • It's important to include intangibles, like how a a student felt about their practice, as this will often get to aspects that a student can't recognize in any tangible way
