Eric Wood is a former NFL center. He played college football at the University of Louisville before becoming the Buffalo Bill's first round draft pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Eric Went on to play nine straight years in the league, all with the Bills. He made the Pro Bowl and was also nominated as one of 32 players in the entire league as a finalist for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. Eric was instrumental in leading the Bills to their first playoff victory since 1999 in the 2017-2018 season after which he failed his end of season physical with a spinal injury that ended his career and nearly left him paralyzed.. Since his time in the NFL, Eric has written columns for The Athletic and served as a commentator on the Buffalo Bills Radio Network. Eric also has his own podcast titled "What's Next w/ Eric Wood" which he started in the midst of his own life transition. He brings on amazing guests and highlights their stories, struggles, and triumphs through their biggest transitions as well. It's an awesome show. Obviously Eric is a stud but he gets great guests as well. Eric is a guy that I am inspired by to reach my potential and be my absolute best, but I would also love to have a few beers on the golf course with him as well. Above it all, Eric is an incredible man, husband, and father, and it was an honor to host him for a conversation on the show.
