    • Look for gigs that will force you into getting and staying sharp
    • Teaching is practice as well. You will definitely improve as you teach others
    • Try to inspire yourself by always listening to, reading and learning about the greats to keep you motivated to improve
    • Go to live concerts
    • If you're looking for inspiration, get around people who are geeking out about what they are passionate about. Even if it's not music, it will rub off on you
