Surf Dads are band from Regina, Saskatchewan who are leading the charge when it comes to the recognition their city’s music scene garnered in 2018. Principal members Chris & Gage join Jeff to talk about their 2018 EP called Long Weekend (featured on the Cups N Cakes “Best EPs of 2018” list), their record label called Grind Central Records and the blossoming state of Regina’s music scene. Then they jump into the rapid-fire where we learn of Chris’ distaste for the Oilers, Gage’s ability to drum with a broken knee and the time the whole band got “Iced” in the Yukon.
