Sonnie directs an orphan family support group comprised of individuals between the ages of 15-35 years old who have lost their birth parents due mainly to HIV and AIDS. She is passionate about reshaping the negative stigma surrounding the word "orphan." She helps inspire orphaned young people to become catalysts in their areas of influence.
