"Verbal Jump rope" is when the person you're talking to is not really listening, they're just waiting for a chance to jump into the conversation to put their 2 cents in. Don't be that guy/girl. Don't try to 1-up everyone, it's annoying and it's not professional. You have 2 ears and 1 mouth, use them in proportion. You'll make more sales, more friends, and generally be a better person. Try it sometime. If you want to succeed, try it ALL the time, player!
