048: Weathering the Current Storm, Part 6 - Starting Back Up
Today, I’m continuing on with some ideas to help you move through this crisis and hopefully begin your recovery.
I offer some additional perspectives on using this time to learn and plan your recovery. I will share why I believe NOW is a great time to think deeply about your value proposition. And then finally, I'll talk about how to actually get started in the rebuilding and recovery for your business.
I'm going to be covering some things I covered back in October in Ep 22 and 23 talking about startup lean startup business.
- Revisit Episode #22: Lessons for Leaders: Using Your Customer Discovery Process (Part 3)
- Revisit Episode #23: Lessons for Leaders: How Using the Story Brand Method Can Jumpstart Your Product and Brand (Part 4)
We'll dive deeper into these concepts:
- The Business Model Canvas and its 9 segments
- How you and your team can use this model to help you through your Plan Your Recovery phase
Finally, here are some thoughts for you as a leader:
- Think about these three words: agility, resilience, and process – what they might mean in your business and why you need to balance all three.
- Look for several right answers because, at this point, you're trying to look into an uncertain future.
- Look into making a SWOT analysis. Then get back to that business model canvas because I think it really gives you more granular information and more specific things to work on.
