Hello! In this Episode of It's a History Podcast, I cover Anna Murphy and her husband Charles Wolseley. Anna had come from a family that was a part of the New Money Scene after making their fortune as the only hardware store in San Fransisco at the start of the Gold Rush. Charles came from a family that was strapped for cash, having came into his title as a child. These two may have started their marriage on good terms, but by the end... Lets say it was not too good for Charles.
