The Old Testament had many rules for the children of Israel to follow as God's people. As we come into the New Testament, we see Jesus show up as a replacement for the rules given to Moses.
In this Bible study, we look at what Christ did and how this changes the rules we follow. Using Colossians 2: 6 - 23, the Apostle Paul encourages to see the freedom we have as believers. It's a freedom from rules and extended spiritual disciplines to prove ourselves to God.
As Christians, we no longer follow rules and act in ways to curry favour with God. We live from the finished work of Christ.
Listen and be blessed.
