Welcome to Scaffolds Podcast, a weekly roundup of the timely updates on insect and disease management as well as phenological developments across New York State for apple growers. This week we are joined by Monique Rivera, assistant professor of entomology at Cornell AgriTech; Kerik Cox, associate professor of plant pathology; and Anna Wallis, Fruit IPM Coordinator.

In this episode, Monique talks about petal fall insect management focusing on plum curculio, tarnished plant bug, and wooly apple aphid. Kerik gives the disease forecast for the week, and Anna Wallis will give the state of the state update on regional developments in degree day accumulation and phenology.
