Before colonization, the relationships people had to land were completely different. When European colonizers arrived, they completely overhauled the way that people were allowed to think about the land. We’re going to dig deeper into this culture clash and see how it played out today. Like, who owns the land? Who should own the land? And what does land ownership mean to Ojibwe and non-Ojibwe?
