In addition, he served as a clinical assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physician & Surgeons and was an Emergency Medicine Resident at New York Presbyterian Hospital where he held the position of chief resident. He holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, an MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
