This week, I meet my first Titanic descendent (silent scream of excitement!), Simon Medhurst. Simon is the Great Grandson of Titanic Quartermaster Robert Hitchens Helmsman, otherwise known as “The Man Who Sank the Titanic” and who was famously portrayed in lifeboat #6 with Margaret  Brown in the 1997 film.
