050: Building Your Teams and Accelerating Out of the Shutdown
In this episode, we will explore what Google found out about creating high-performing teams in their project, Aristotle.
Google specifically discovered five key success elements of high-performing teams as well as five additional supporting success factors. Learn how these can be translated into your team and your organization as a whole.
Join me in exploring some great ideas on how you can engage with your teams and encourage them to be accelerating and not be hesitating as you create your new future – together.

- The 5 key factors of high-performing teams
- Focusing on the concept of Psychological Safety
- Holding a mindset of being curious
- Listening with your full attention and without judging
Some Thoughts for you as a Leader
- Agility - Rethink your assumptions and look at the new reality.
- Resilience - What’s your backup plan or recovery plan and questions you might need to answer?
- Process - You want defined work, but not over defined and rigid.
- Inspirational Leadership - Are you still checking in with your teams?
- Positive Outlook - While there are not yet certain answers, are you remembering your team’s strengths and talents?
- Achievement Orientation - Are you asking your teams to commit to moving forward and asking them to set milestones and goals? (Small goals or milestones, yet long-term target)
