This topic was long overdue. I am not completely in favour of the so called "Awareness Teams" or "Awareness programs" being used in clubs or discos. Aside from the fact that it is obviously important to ensure safety and protection to all guests, it also takes away many possibilities to get to know someone. When even the slightest innocent look of a man can be interpreted as a threat, then we have a security model that just doesn't work. Open communication might be in jeopardy if all of your actions can be misunderstood by the person in front of you.
