Itadori manages to save Nanami from Mahito’s infinite domain. As a result of this fight against the curses (and Junpei), Itadori had killed someone which he’d sworn not to do and the school did take corrective action against bullies. With Itadori now strong enough to hold his own, Gojo and Nanami decide now is the perfect time to bring Itadori back to the school and announce that Itadori – Sukuna’s vessel – is, in fact, not dead.
