Patrick, my girlfriend called me yesterday to let me know that her husband was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. Apparently his lungs are deteriorating and he is on the lung transplant list. He is 65 years old, and the doctors told him they do not know why he has this condition because he has not a history of smoking, or working in a toxic environment.
