By now, it’s no longer a surprise for anyone that the medical marijuana market

in the country is geared for explosive growth.

Recently Canada’s national drug development and commercialization centre has partnered with Vancouver’s Aequus Pharmaceuticals Inc.,

on a research program aimed at establishing pre-clinical safety

and efficacy of select cannabinoid-based therapeutics.

I had a chance to speak with Gordon McCauley, president and CEO of the

 Centre For Drug Research and Development  or CDRD.

And he provided Biotechnology Focus with some insights into his organization’s partnership with Aequus.
