Jonny Gomes is a former major league baseball player and currently the the minor league outfield and base running coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He strung together a phenomenal thirteen year career in the league from 2003 to 2016 and won two World Series championships. The first with the Boston Red Sox and the second with the Kansas City Royals. Jonny's story of accidentally becoming a professional baseball player - yes, accidentally - is a good one, and we get into it in our conversation today. Jonny has a unique perspective and honest gratitude for the life he lives, and you hear it come through every time he speaks. He's a really funny guy with a dry sense of humor, and I really enjoyed chatting with him. Above it all, he's an incredible man, husband, and father, and it was an honor to host him on the show.
