Appreciation means thanksgiving. 

It is the will of God to give thanks to God. Jer. 29:11

There are many good things that are hidden in appreciation (thanksgiving).

Psalm 92:1

 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

Appreciation can stop your aging process. 

Showing gratitude causes you to move to higher altitudes. 

It causes you to be elevated. David was elevated from being a shepherd to become the King of Israel. 2 Samuel 6:12-23
