To accelerate the efforts toward decarbonization and achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, SFDR enforces institutional investors and asset managers to report on their influence on the environment with set standards through PAI indicators. Total emission is an important facet of an entity's environmental impact, however, it tells an incomplete story, the emission intensity which reflects the efficiency of using the resources is a more appropriate measure.  GHG intensity of the investee companies will help the investors choose wisely amongst the sustainable companies that efficiently utilize inputs.
