My sixth guest on the Black With No Cream Podcast is JR Strickland! JR is one of the most talented VFX/Editor/Director's I know. His credits range from Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Logic, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Spotify, and many more. When I had just moved to Los Angeles, JR was one of my first friends and we worked closely on several major projects together, so I am excited to finally share his story! We talk about how JR was using Premiere when he was SIX years old (shout out to his pops), how he was rejected in college of an opportunity to create a short film and spend a semester in LA which forced him to be self-taught while in Chicago. He then moved to LA to work with some of the biggest names in the music business and started his own VFX company. This story is super incredible.
