John Schmidt has celebrated 80 years of continuous co-living on our planet Earth. A community in Chiang Mai, Thailand, calls him 'Johnny Sunshine' because of the brightness he radiates to everyone he encounters and his appreciation for everyone involved, serving as a model to all of us of the essence of transformation.

He once shared in our after-party Great Gathering Festival that everyone transforms; people change and transform.

We embrace everyone still and see everyone through the lens of love.

He taught me Conscious Language, the essence of my communication, and the impact on me of my choice of words.
