Jesus called to himself 12 special disciples who were granted the authority of apostles. These 12 men learned directly from the Incarnate God. No one else in history has had that privilege. Yet Jesus called these men to a ministry of hardship, difficulty, persecution, and martyrdom. They willingly followed and served.
