In this week’s episode the President of Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce Colin Ahern spoke with John about the events of past week which saw Level 3 of the Plan for Living with Covid-19 implemented. Colin discussed the effect of the level 3 restrictions on business locally. 

Tom Burgess of Coolattin Cheddar is the latest food producer that John met with for a chat as part of the Taste Local Tour. Based just outside Tullow in Co. Carlow, Tom produces mature raw milk cheddar which most of us would as Coolattin Cheddar.

David Duggan chats to John about his new business Delivery Solutions which offers delivery services for pharmacies, hospitals, and medical centres in the region.

Colin discusses the impact on the hospitality sector and measures that he would hope will be introduced to help the sector. Colin also chats about how Christmas may look this year.

National Fire Safety commenced on Monday 5th October running throughout the week and Kieran Kirwan of Rapid Fire Safety & Security Solutions Ltd. based in Kilkenny, spoke with John about the importance of fire safety in the workplace as well as the work that they do.
