He currently is involved in the exploratory committee to organize a city wide Pediatric ACO in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Scherz has been the Medicaid reviewer for Pediatric Urology since 1996. He has been named as one of the top physicians by Atlanta Magazine, every year since 2005. In May of 2009, Dr. Scherz founded the physician group, Docs 4 Patient Care, which has subsequently become one of the most prominent physician groups in championing sensible healthcare reform. He was a featured speaker on a healthcare panel at CPAC in 2010.
