Ignore it and hope it goes away

(yes, some people think this will work)

The Performance Improvement Plan or PIP

Encouragement

Constructive Criticism

The criticism Sandwich

Moving to another position within the company

And so on

How does one handle this situation?

 

That depends on the culture of the company.
