Darlene Cavalier has been named a National Geographic Explorer and Fellow.

She is a professor of practice at Arizona State University’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society and the driving force behind SciStarter. 

A Citizen Science champion, and science cheerleader, with a real understanding of the diversity of citizen science projects.
