She had a hard time wrapping her head around the idea of turning her "passion for fashion" into anything more than a fantasy. So, for the first part of her working life, she choose the safer route, and made her living as a seamstress. The idea of getting paid to shop, was just not part of her everyday thinking. As one girlfriend trip to the mall led to another, it was obvious to many that she had an eye for detail and a flair for style.
