There’s one thing that I come across quite often in conversations – and that is the concern about jumping ship. What do I mean by that? Well, you can get someone that is in a career, a job, or running a business – and when you ask them why do they do what they’re doing – they say because it pays the bills. And yet when you describe to them what they could be doing – in other words, their purpose – they say they can’t. They can’t not do what they’re currently doing and start doing something different. Even if it’s just slightly different. And even though they know they would absolutely love to be doing what’s described and how they could make money from it, and they describe how great it would make them feel and how excited they’d be and thrilled to be doing it – they still can’t do it. They can’t jump ship. So what’s happening?
