Everyone always being “on” all the time. There’s a workaholic nature of our industry and I burned myself out by being connected and working 24/7. Sometimes now I will text my producer or other people I am working on a project with and just be like “yo I need the night off from this on some mental health shit” and it’s understood and encouraged. I feel like I would have snapped at someone for saying something like that to me when I was in my most workaholic state but now I believe in finding time to recharge to ensure I find peace and can allow my
