Rebecca started her career in film during her Masters at the Royal Academy of

Dramatic Art. As part of her degree she financed and staged a play at the

Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. This was her first foray into

producing. Further to this Rebecca produced a number of theatre plays and worked

for  a prolific US film producer. Rebecca was passionate about stories - the

film medium, collaborating with creatives and understanding the business.

Rebecca started to produce music videos and short films. Her music videos were

shown on the main satellite channels and her short films competed in several

high profile film festivals including Clermont Ferrand.

 

Rebecca's first film 'Forget Me Not' was inspired by classic love films. It was

a two hander and Rebecca utilised the London backdrop to gain production value

for example the film was shot on the London eye.  Rebecca won Best Film at the

London International Film Festival and the film had it's world premiere at Palm

Beach International Film Festival.

Rebecca founded BOUDICA during the 2011 WFTV mentee scheme. Rebecca's business

partner is Ian Davies and tougher they have over the last three years produced

and executive produced a handful of British films that have gained creative

awards and a return on investment. Four actresses from Boudica films have

received BAFTA nominations. With Ian, Rebecca is now focusing on the success of

Boudica to create outstanding films with real potential for returns to

investors.

 

Rebecca is a creative producer and works very closely with the writers of the

films to ensure the vision of the film. Rebecca is a hands on producer and team

player and oversees the development and production of the films.

 

Boudica has also launched a distribution arm and female initiative. Rebecca is

very excited about the future of Boudica: creating excellent films; enabling

other women behind and in front of the camera and creating opportunities for

investors.
