Many people consider EGO as something that’s bad. Mainly because society has led them to believe that it means being arrogant, self-righteous, full of self-importance, being cocky or proud and such like. And when people speak about EGO they refer to others as having a big EGO – as being full of themselves, above their station or being overconfident and so on. Therefore the perception of EGO can be negative. And people find themselves asking whether they’re doing something because of their EGO or whether it’s the right thing to do.
