Marko Vejvoda is from Rijeka, Croatia, and has been training for over 12 years. 

Marko holds the rank of 3-Dan in both Iaido and Kendo, is one of the founders of Kendo klub Rijeka, and has various podium finishes in both Kendo & Iaido. 

In this wide-ranging conversation, we talk about the journey Kendo klub Rijeka has had during the last 10 years and how Marko is working on developing himself and the dojo. We talk about passion to practice and getting out of your comfort zone, including his first time at the European Iaido Championships and attending the Kitamoto kendo camp.
