Asmi Pokharel is a dedicated scientist, community leader, and media professional based in Boston. She works as a Senior Associate Scientist at a gene therapy company while actively engaging in community initiatives. As the Chairperson of Greater Boston Nepali Community (GBNC) Health Committee , she advocates for mental and physical health awareness and cultural preservation. She also serves as the Head of Events and Outreach for NSA Boston and as the Communication Director and Artist Liaison at NewchiTV, an international Nepali media platform.
