In a game where European leagues are king, most of our young talent is unable to move to Europe until they turn 18, causing them to miss out on crucial development stages with top tier clubs, and leaving them a step behind young studs from across the pond. Barring a change from FIFA regulations about minors playing professional ball, this will continue to be an obstacle high profile US youth prospects have to face.
