Julie Fahrbach: I would like to discuss the results of tracking my time and what automated tasks/templates/tools I could create.
- Do a 15-minute block time-budgeting exercise for each day of week, filling in the white spaces to clarify your priorities and use it as a tool to set clear boundaries.
- Clearly identify and name the four most important areas of your life.
- Map a calendar of your ideal 24/7 week, using only the names of your four plates to allocate time. Then within each plate, define the specific types of tasks or "hats" you wear.Â
- Block focused time for replying to messages to avoid constant context-switching and protect deep work. Use your time budget to spot distractions and say “no” easily.
- Intentionally schedule and protect dedicated downtime for yourself, especially in the evenings, ensuring it's for personal rejuvenation within your "Health & Wellness" plate.
