The restored church of Jesus Christ was named by Christ himself and is called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." For some of us, we may wonder why we are called 'Saints', and we would likely be the first to point out just how un-saintly we all are. We all fall short, but that doesn't stop us from being Saints. Elder Renlund in this address from April 2015 teaches that saints are sinners who keep trying. We should not get discouraged when we fall short but should trust that God is satisfied with our effort to keep trying. We also should be patient with others as they keep trying.
