Hello and welcome back! That time of year is coming around again, and as rising juniors who have experienced high school during a pandemic, Maddie and I feel qualified enough to share our advice about everything that goes on in high school. Although we don't have all the answers and still struggle with quite a few of the topics mentioned, we want to show that high school is a major period of growth for everyone. While it might not be your favorite part of your life, the person that enters and leaves will always be different. So, here's our take on the first two years of "the (not) best four years of your life."
P.S. We decided to keep the looser structure again for this episode, but in the process forgot some (almost all) of our intro and outro stuff. Please forgive us :)
1:19-(kind of) what we've been up to
(we forgot new discoveries)
2:32-topics
-back to school anxiety/excitement
-expectation vs. reality
-extracurriculars
-cliques/stereotypical friend groups
-relationships
-academics
-priorities
-school/life balance
-having FUN
(we forgot Pinterest quotes)
