Christ fulfills the promise of righteousness and healing through His life, death, and resurrection, bringing salvation to those who fear God's name. Furthermore, the reference to Elijah's coming finds fulfillment in John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ, calling people to repentance before the great and final day of the Lord.
