In Feb 2018, Nikhil Taneja quit his job as General Manager at Yash Raj Films at the peak of his career, in a pursuit to find purpose in his work. Through this sabbatical, Nikhil went on to explore things he found meaning in which led to getting involved in extremely rewarding opportunities like being part of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and more. In this interview, Nikhil reflects on this entire journey and sheds light on his learnings about the Youth which formed the basis of the purpose-driven youth media company he founded called Yuvaa. Nikhil is a mental health advocate, and he shares the many challenges he faces doing the work he does, and helps understand the value of taking care of oneself.
