In episode 4, I started a new series titled “Take the F.I.R.S.T. step: 5 steps you need to take to take to go from idea to start your business. In today’s episode, we’ll explore step 4 which is the letter “S” in my F.I.R.S.T. step method. My "F.I.R.S.T." step method is an acronym I created to help you move from idea to start a business.

The letter “S” in my F.I.R.S.T. step method is “Set Reasonable Boundaries”.

• Step 1: “F” - Find Clarity

It is easy to get burnt out doing the thing you love the most if you don’t set reasonable boundaries. As a mom, wife, and aspiring entrepreneur, you’ll feel like a joggler, juggling multiple balls in the air and praying that none drops.

Spending time to study yourself and learn what works for you and what doesn't work is priceless. I'm realizing every day that "One size doesn't fit all". It never has and it never will. The way you work is unique!

Don't start a business based on what works for someone else. Their life situation is different from yours and you never get the full story online. Take time to set reasonable boundaries that allow you to balance family, work, business, and personal responsibilities. Be reasonable with your boundaries. Don’t set boundaries that make it extremely difficult for your customers to transact business with you.
