The Weight Of Love- Poem 爱情之重

Hello everyone this is Blake. Welcome to my radio. It’s Monday again. 又到了周一，为你读一首《爱情的小诗》； 

Actuallygirls don’t like to talk about weight. It really comes with a lot pressure. Buttoday the title is The weight of love. 爱情之重；

I once was asked concerning love versus hate
Why does it seem that hate is so great? 
While hate is a very strong emotion too
Nothing can equal love that is true

有人问过我这样一个问题：比较爱和恨

为什么好像恨如此强烈

理应更让难以忘怀？

可实际上没什么比爱让人更刻骨铭心。

The weight of hate is very heavy to bear
While it seems like love is lighter than air
Accounts of hate make a big news headline
While actions of love you must look hard to find
恨是生命难以承受之重。

而爱情却可以轻如空气。

恨能使人颠覆自我，

而爱却可以润物无声。

But when you consider that love is patient, kind, 
Envieth not, not pompous, not puffed up, not rude, 
Seeketh not her own, slow to anger, thinks no evil, 
Rejoices not in wrong doing, but rejoices in the truth, 
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, 
Endures all things, and never fails

但是当你把爱情认为是耐心的、美好；

比如：没有嫉妒、自负、自我膨胀、粗鲁

比如：无私奉献、不易生气、无限幸运的

你偏向行为，更应该偏向真理

承受一切、信任一切并一直抱有希望；

只有容忍一切才屹立不倒。

You soon learn that the density of love is so much, 
Although the scales be heaped with a great volume of hate
It's catapulted by a meremeasure of love's touch, 
Love strengthens the bearer so one feels not its weight

你很快会发现爱情的密度很高，

即使内心的很多地方都装满了恨

却在爱的包容下逐渐瓦解
爱让内心更加坚强，无坚不摧。

爱是如此的之重，重在情感却也如此之轻，轻在随手可得。这不禁让我想到了一段话：

We take so many things for granted including those thing that mostdeserved our gratitude , such as family. And we have to admit that sometimes wetake the people we love for granted , we get so used to having them around andthen fail to appreciate their presence.

我们把太多的事情视为理所当然，其中包括我们最应该感谢的——家人，我们有时候把爱的人给予的爱视为当然，我们太习惯于他们在我们的身边以至于都忘记了去感谢他们给予的爱。
