brunch 早午餐
【Origins 起源】
Brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch, and regularly has some form of alcoholic drink served with it. Brunch originated in England in the late 19th century and became popular in the United States in the 1930s.
By eliminating the need to get up early on Sunday, brunch would make life brighter for Saturday-night carousers. It would promote human happiness in other ways as well.
