Do you as a believer believe? Is there something more behind the disheartening news cycles, cultural pressures and changing educational instruction of our day?

Are you equipped to take on the onslaught of all that is false today, including possible "evil spirits" who seek to disrupt lives and families? Should the church reawaken to the greater reality upon which to champion the victory of Christ through his death and resurrection? These are not times to be downcast, slumber or plead ignorance.

Ours is a biblical worldview which points to both the natural (seen) and supernatural (unseen) dimensions around us. God’s word teaches there are literal unseen spirits which can be the drivers of false narratives, misguided decrees, destructive thoughts and evil actions. It’s the reason the Apostle John exhorted believers, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” (1 John 1:1)

This Sunday, The Awakening Church continues its message series in 1 John by taking up his appeal in chapter 4 (vs. 1-6) with a message directly entitled “Test the Spirits”. It is my desire as a pastor and friend in our Temecula Valley, and beyond, to provide healthy and balanced perspective to equip believers in Christ and see freedom brought to those in the bondage of lies and affliction – spiritual, emotional & physical.

Even for those who are not believers in Jesus, it is my heart to help us think clearly about the seen and unseen ramifications of life in this world.
