No matter what kind of business you run or what your life looks like, you pay people for services. Whether it's a tune-up for your car, your virtual assistant for posting social media posts for you, a business coach to guide you to your next goal or an accountant to help with your taxes or bookkeeping...you don't do life or business alone.

But something that comes up again and again (and again!) is how people charge and pay for these services. Fees for services should not be simply the amount of time it takes for a service provider to "do the thing." There's so much more that goes into pricing than that.

And make no mistake...I'm no pricing expert. But I do have quite a bit of experience both running a service-based business and paying others for services--as a business owner and a consumer.
